MotoGP start time: What time does the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix start?

Maverick Vinales has claimed back-to-back pole positions at Misano ahead of the MotoGP Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. Here’s how and when you can watch the race.

The factory Yamaha rider secured pole position following Francesco Bagnaia’s cancelled lap for exceeding track limits on a timed effort that would have given him P1 and the Misano lap record.

That lost lap has relegated Bagnaia back to fifth place on the starting grid and promoted Pramac Ducati team-mate Jack Miller into second place with Petronas SRT rider Fabio Quartararo completing the front row.

Vinales will be hoping to make amends after struggling in the Misano opener despite starting from pole position, which he put down to the wrong tyre advice which ‘wasted’ his chance.

KTM’s Pol Espargaro will head up the second row despite suffering two crashes on Saturday, with Bagnaia fifth and his mentor Valentino Rossi one spot back in sixth.

Rossi paid huge credit to his protégé Bagnaia and feels he is riding the Ducati in “the perfect way”.

Fresh from his maiden MotoGP win last weekend, Franco Morbidelli starts from eighth place for Petronas SRT despite battling a sickness bug, ahead of factory Ducati duo Danilo Petrucci and Andrea Dovizioso.
