‘Is It Just Me?’ Podcast: Is F1 better when there’s less reliability?

The 2020 Formula 1 season-opener in Austria proved to be worth the wait as the Red Bull Ring threw up an eventful and chaotic finish.

In a race that featured several teams struggling with issues on their cars and a number of drivers clashing, just 11 cars made it to the finish.

It was the lowest number of finishers for a race since Australia 2015, and had a very nineties feel to it – but is it proof that F1 is better when there’s less reliability?

Jess McFadyen and Luke Smith discuss the topic in the latest edition of the Is It Just Me? podcast, as well as hearing from a number of fans for their views on what F1 needs to provide more on-track spectacles like Austria.

You can watch the podcast on YouTube, and it is also available to listen and download from all good audio platforms.
