The Hungarian Grand Prix resulted in a dominant win for six-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, but mixed conditions added layers of intrigue and excitement throughout.
Max Verstappen crashed en route to the grid, and his Red Bull team faced a race against time to get his car fixed for the race, and did battle against a rapidly-catching Valtteri Bottas.
Racing Point also bagged its best result of the season thanks to Lance Stroll, later fielding a second protest against its car from Renault, as the race featured plenty of midfield scraps thanks to the spectre of tyre degradation looming large in the second half of the race.
In this episode of the Autosport Podcast, Grand Prix editor Alex Kalinauckas is joined by Jon Noble, Luke Smith and Stuart Codling to dissect the race at the Hungaroring and digest the biggest talking points of the weekend.
