Designed by SRO Motorsports Group, the GT4 category followes the same principles which characterize high-profile championships like the GT World Challenge, Total 24 Hours of Spa, the British GT Championship or the GT4 European Series: reduced costs, fairness for all, dynamic courses, conviviality in the paddock, proximity and media coverage.. It is within this framework that the FFSA GT French Championship adopted GT4 regulations.
SRO Motorsports Group offers a format adapted to the FFSA GT French Championship with extremely dynamic events.
Each weekend includes almost five hours of track time. Two one-hour free practice sessions precede two twenty-minute qualifying sessions. Pro-Am and Am pairings will then compete in two spectacular races each lasting an hour and including a ten-minute drivers change pit window.
The points allocation after each race meets the FIA standards as follows: 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1.
